This is GREAT way to get organized! Put together a personal filing system that will enable you to have all of the information you need at your fingertips.

You will need to get some file folders—if you don’t have any see Mrs. Kempton!

Individual folders labeled:

* Transcript,

*Test scores,

*Senior Schedule

* Resume

*Letters of Recommendation

*NCAA Registration (if an athlete)

 *Each College I am interested in with contact numbers, addresses, and deadlines for everything

 *Scholarship applications with contact numbers, required documents, website, and deadlines

*Financial Aid (FAFSA)

August - December:

               Get a copy of your transcript and know your GPA and what quartile you are in.  Know graduation requirements and check in with your counselor to make sure you are on track to graduate.

              Sign up for ACT/SAT.  Check fee waiver eligibility

              Know admission requirements and deadlines of colleges you are applying.  Check link on college and career page for chart containing admission requirements and deadlines for all Texas universities.
