Spring Awards Ceremonies at HHS

The 2018 Academic Awards assembly will be held on Tuesday, May 15th beginning at 1:30 pm in the HHS Auditorium. Since this assembly is held during the school day, all parents/family members/guests who attend are asked to sign in at the reception desk; a sign in sheet will be provided for quicker sign ins.

The 2018 Senior Awards Ceremony will be held on Monday, May 21st at 6:00 pm in the HHS Auditorium. A reception honoring recipients and scholarship benefactors will be held immediately following in the HHS Library. Pictures may be taken at the reception.

Friday, April 20 - Recovery Day for HHS students

Friday, April 20th is a scheduled student holiday; however, HHS students will again be offered the opportunity to recover a failed 6-weeks grade or recover attendance seat time on this day. ACT/SAT/AP exam prep will also be conducted. Breakfast and lunch will be provided for both students and staff in the high school cafeteria. Start time for staff is 8:00 am and start time for students is 8:30 am.

Advanced Placement Testing Information is now posted on the HHS website (Parent Tab>Testing Information)

Registration for all AP exams will be conducted at HHS with AP Test Registration forms being distributed to students during their AP classes beginning Monday, March 5. AP Testing will take place May 7th – May 16th at Huntsville High School. Registration for all AP Exams is due Thursday, March 29. The cost is $94 per exam. If students qualify for free/reduced lunch, see Mrs. Choate in room 1007.
