¡Bienvenidos!

Spanish I/ Spanish for Native Speakers Teacher

Dear parents/Guardians
Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! My name is Carlos Lopez and I am thrilled to spend my first year as a teacher at Huntsville High School! I grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico up until 2006 when I moved to Waco, Texas. I am passionate about the Spanish language and the Hispanic culture. I am the first one in my family to graduate high school and go to college. Therefore, I completely understand the importance to acquire a higher education. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in May 2017 with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish and a minor in education. I am looking forward to meeting all of my students and help them achieve their academic goals!
